Terms & Conditions - 

 

Please read these Terms and Conditions before using the https//www.chloescakes.net website and Chloe’s cakes Facebook page (the service) operated by Chloe’s cakes (us, we, our) and purchasing any of our fresh or online products.

 

Your access to and use of the service is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, users and others who wish to access or use the service.

 

By accessing or using the service you agree to be bound by these Terms, if you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the service.

 

All products and services including fresh products, online postal products are subject to the following Terms.

 

PURCHASES

If you wish to purchase any product or service made available though the service (purchase) you may be asked to supply certain information relevant to your purchase including without limition, your credit/debit card number, the expiration date, your billing address and your shipping address and information.

You represent and warrant that (i) you have the legal right to use any credit/debit card(s) or other payment methods(s) in connection with any purchase and that (ii) the information you supply to us is true, correct and complete.

 

The service may employ the use of third-party services for the purpose of faciliting payment and the completion of purchases by submitting your information you grant us the right to provide the information to these third parties subject to our privacy policy.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order at anytime for reasons including, but not limited to product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product or service, error in your order or other reasons.

 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your order if fraud or an unauthorized or illegal transaction is suspected.

 

PAYMENTS

For all fresh products ordered for collection/delivery and non-refundable 50% deposit is required upon ordering, to secure your order.  The remaining balance is then due 1 week prior to collection/delivery.

 

For weddings a non-refundable booking deposit of £50.00 will secure your order, with the remaining balance due no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date.

Please NOTE that your order is NOT confirmed in the diary until your booking deposit has received.

 

Payments accepted are bank transfer (preferable), all online orders are paid via credit/debit card and are non-refundable.

 

CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact Chloe’s cakes as soon as possible.

Due to our product being bespoke and made to order any payments already made for cancelled orders are NON-REFUNDABLE.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an order due to circumstances beyond our control or ill health, we will give you as much notice as possible, and a full refund of any payment/s made to us will be given.

 

ALLERGENS AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

Our products contain Gluten (wheat), Milk, Eggs, Soya, and depending on flavour can contain Nuts and Peanuts.

All dietary/allergy’s must be made known to Chloe’s cakes before ordering.

PRODUCT DESIGNS

To create your bespoke order Chloe’s cakes will use images supplied to us as ideas and inspiration only.  We do not copy work from other bakers.

Slight variations in the colour and overall look of the cake/bake may occur as all items are made to order.

You may change the size of your order/cake after booking has been made, however at least 3 weeks’ notice is required, and 4 week’s notice is required for wedding cakes.

A change in size of your order/cake may influence the total cost either up or down. This will be discussed at point of change.

 

COLLECTIONS

All collections are from the unit at Beacon Park Dartington.

You agree to collect your order at the arranged time.  Chloe’s cakes cannot guarantee availability outside your specified time.  If you miss your time slot, you will be required to contact Chloe’s cakes to re-book collection.

Chloe’s cakes will NOT chase up late collections and cannot guarantee the unit will be open outside your collection slot.

Once products have left the premises, Chloe’s cakes cannot be held responsible for any damage or issue that may occur.  Please adhere to any cake care guidelines provided to you.

 

NON-EDIBLE ITEMS

Some of our products may have non-edible items such as ribbons, toppers, flowers, support dowels etc, it is your responsibility to ensure these items are removed before cutting and consuming the products.

 

STORAGE, SHELF LIFE, TRANSPORTATION

All our products are baked from scratch to order and decorated as close to your collection/delivery date as possible, therefore they do not contain additives or preservatives.

Our cup cakes are at their best consumed within 24 hours of the collection/delivery date but can still be enjoyed for up to 2-3 days.

Our cakes are at their best consumed within 24-48 hours of the collection/delivery date but do have a shelf life of 4-5 days uncut and once cut 3-4 days if stored correctly.

Our brownies have a long shelf life of 10-14 days but are best consumed within 5-7 days after collection/delivery.

All orders are to be always kept flat and are best placed I passenger footwell or the boot (as long as it can not move around) and out of direct sunlight during transportation.

All our product are suitable for freezing and keep well for up to 3 months, just ensure the product is individually portioned and well wrapped to eliminate the chance of freezer burn.  Allow to defrost at room temperature before eating.

Chloe’s cakes cannot guarantee the quality of the product if consumed after the time fames stated above, or if products have been incorrectly stored.

RETURNS AND DAMAGES

In the unliky event you are not satisfied with the design of your cake, you must make it known to us upon collection, if you leave with your order, you have consented it meets your requirements.

If a issue does arise with your cake a minimum of 90% of your order must be returned immediately so Chloe’s cake can fully examine the issue, if apparent.

If Chloe’s cakes agree there is an issue with your order, an email will be sent detailing any action/refund if deemed necessary.

No refunds will be given on the account of personal taste/preference.

Chloe’s cakes decision is final. 

Chloe’s cake cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to the cake once it has left the premises.

 

POSTAL ORDERS

All postal orders are via our online store   at  www.chloescakes.net when products are available.

Payment is by credit/debit card.

Orders are posted using Royal Mail 1st Class delivery, please allow up to 5 business days for delivery.

Orders are dispatched on the day specified in the shop post, and to the address provided, Chloe’s cake cannot be held responsible for any error with the delivery address if not supplied appropriately upon ordering.

Once the product has left Chloe’s cakes premises it is then the responsibility of Royal Mail to deliver in a timely manner.  Chloe’s cake can not be held responsible for a delay in delivery once the package is with Royal Mail.

If the product arrives damaged, Chloe’s cake must be informed immediately by email with photo evidence attached, we will then suggest a solution to the issue if deemed necessary.

 

Chloe’s cakes endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data but can not guarantee the security of any data you disclose. You accept the internet security implications of being and transacting online over the internet and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security.
